Memory Of A Goldfish

goldfish with gun photo

Once upon a time, in a city called Tripoli, there were two religious parties peacefully bombing the *uck out of each others.

And there was this 18 y.o guy who was working on his Laptop at 2AM because he couldn't get to sleep from the sound of gunfire and bombs.

Suddenly, he hears a strange sound on the street, a man screams: "Fall back!" and boom... the whole street gets shaken and there is sound of glass breaking... then a few shots in the air, the sound of a vehicle leaving and then dead silence...

In case you haven't guessed yet, I am the guy in this story, and this has happened to me during the Tebene and Jabal clash on Sunday..

My whole family immediately woke up (I don't know how were they sleeping in the first place), and my parents looked from the window a few minutes later to inform us that the mobile store under our house was on fire..

The fire was immediately extinguished. Apparently, the store belonged to a "3alawi" man. Following the next couple of nights, multiple other stores were burned for the same reason.

It was a scary experience for sure, but you just laugh at it a few minutes later.

What's not so funny though, is the degree of barbarism these so-called religious people has reached.

Seems that we really do have the memory of a goldfish...
